They must therefore use that statement to back up their claim and use that statement to argue that their side has more truth and that therefore, their side has the more valid claim. The essay will look more like a legal agreement than it does a logical argument.The FSA argumentative essay is not an acceptable essay style for a master's student. It requires that you make statements that you cannot prove, therefore you need to use the 'undue weight' argument.The excessive weight is an argument that says that your side should not be accepted because you could not prove that it is reasonable. Such an argument could be used to say that evolution is not a legitimate science because scientists could not prove that it is reasonable. Thus, it is unreasonable to believe in evolution.A content based argument is the way to go when writing an argumentative essay. This style is often preferred by students, but most professors prefer the FSA argumentative essay as well. The fact that it is much easier to write and does not require that you offer as much proof, makes it very popular.
